Both are best selling items of Laneige, and I want to compare them since the new one is upgraded version of the old one...

Laneige Water Sleeping Pack is one of best selling product form Laneige. 
It is awarded Cosmo Beauty Award and sold one every 30 seconds worldwide.
Don't you wanna try it!!!
I bought one when I went to Singapore 2 years ago and almost ran out of it. Already got the new one :p

It is hydrating, brightening and relaxing.. Wow.. 
It also has Sleepscent (TM by AmorePacific), 
it says that Sleepscent relaxes your body and mind so you can sleep easily (like a sleep drug?.. just kidding..)
But yes the scent is very relaxing, water bank line from Laneige almost has the same scent like this one.


 
 LANEIGE FIRMING SLEEPING PACK


Laneige Firming Sleeping Pack is a new formula, like an updated version of Laneige Water Sleeping Pack.
Because of the success from the Laneige Water Sleeping Pack, this new version is launched, but with new addition benefit, that is Firming.

Laneige Firming Sleeping Pack has new technology called SleePOP (TM by AmorePacific).
SleePOP contains polianthes tuberosa polysaccharide for a supple and resilient pack that hydrates the skin and works as filler with lowmolecular collagen peptides.
In other words, it is firming by filling your wrinkle while you're sleeping.

This new technology works like memory foam gel. 
Memory foam gel is like latex, once you change its shape, it can turn back to the its original shape just like before the changes occur. (reminds me of pillow and mattress)

Packaging

Laneige packaging always nice, and very thick, there is thick colored plastic that covers the container inside.

 Laneige Water Sleeping Pack has a big soft blue container that similar with the gel inside.

Laneige Water Sleeping Pack has a big soft blue container contains 80ml,
definitely taller than the Laneige Firming Sleeping Pack that only contains 50ml.
It is bigger and cheaper, definitely a save, since it's the old version.

Laneige Firming Sleeping Pack comes with dark blue container contains 50ml. 
It is smaller and more expensive than Laneige Water Sleeping Pack.
The packaging make it looks more exclusive than Laneige Water Sleeping Pack.



I found it that the color concept of the mask packaging is similar with the Laneige line that already existed.

Laneige Firming Sleeping Pack has thicker texture with yellow cream color. It's like cream choux and custard pudding (somehow between them) that can melt easily into your face.

It will look more like messy pudding after you stir it. Haha.. I'm playing with it.

I'm amazed with the transformation, it is the new technology SleePOP that cause this! Wow... 
From the texture, it says firming, so our face will 'pop' like this sleeping pack. *Hope so... Wish that can happen in an instant like the cream*

Never seen one like this before, heard that new BB cream from Dr Jart having the same concept with their BB cream, seems fun..



Scent

Laneige Water Sleeping Pack has relaxing watery scent, it's so refreshing. I love the scent.

Laneige Firming Sleeping Pack is similar but lighter and more feminine. Because it still contains Sleepscent like the water one.

Laneige Water Sleeping Pack supa dupa love it!!!
This really hydrates my skin a lot, by using it at night, you can see the result in the morning.
Your skin got softer, dewier, and suppler...
I have a friend that has skin problem like darkening and exfoliating, looks like skin burn. She used this once and it became softer, almost like the original skin with few times using.

Laneige Firming Sleeping Pack is also lovable! I love it too..
It firms my skin and makes my sleep more relaxing.
It's not as hydrating as the water one, but still, I love the result.



Overall 

For me, better use both of them, because they have their own benefits and you'll never regret it.

    i'm confused by your review since you keep on referring to them as one is the older version and the other is the newer version... they aren't the same product in general right? One is just a hydrating sleeping mask and the other is a FIRMING sleeping mask.

    Aku juga pakai ini lho water sleeping pack selama beberapa bulan belakangan ini, tadinya cuma buat gaya2an aja, soalnya banyak yang pakai, tapi setelah mengalami kulit kering di pipi, ternyata kegunaannya terlihat jelas, very good lah kalau aku bilang, bener2 sebanding dengan harganya hahaha...

    Kalau ada waktu, main2 ya ke tempat aku, aku baru nih di dunia perblogan :) Dan boleh minta folbek? #kedip2ganjen hehehe
