Review: Revlon Photoready Concealer 003 Light Medium

I already have liquid concealer, but it doesn't have enough coverage.
Liquid concealer is better than stick concealer in the moisturizing factor, but for coverage stick concealer is better.
So... wanted a stick concealer, when I went to Revlon, I bought this one.

Photoready is one of Revlon collection, they have the foundation and compact, too.
After having chit chat with the Revlon BA, I knew that photoready has glitter particles in their products.

Packaging

It looks like lipstick from the shape and the size.
Wrapped in plastic seal with no box.
The cap is transparent so you  can see the color inside, mine got dirty because it's a clear plastic.


I chose 003 Light Medium, which I now feel that it's a little bit too dark for me, I better choose a lighter shade next time (002). Lesson taken.
The plastic is thick and I like it, I dropped it and it's still ok.
Doesn't it look like lipstick?
This concealer has a click sound everytime I twist it, not as smooth as you twist a lipstick.
I think because the formula not as creamy as lipstick, and it's a concealer which usually used with more pressure.



Swatch
The texture is creamy and easy to blend.
I have a small brown spot at my hand, let's see how it works.
With 1 layer, there is a slight coverage.
With 2 layers, the spot is covered but you can see the color is a bit darker than my skintone.
I don't really like using it as under eye concealer because I prefer liquid and something more creamy to my dry skin, because this will makes the fine lines visible if I put it too much.
Look closer, there is a 'bling bling' there, the glitter is barely seen, it's not noticeable so it's no problem.
Revlon mention it as Photochromatic pigments.



Pros
+ Stick concealer is easier to bring, not as messy as liquid
+ The plastic is thick
+ Coverage is good, but I think I need something more

Cons
- Not all people like shimmer concealer
- Only come in 3 shades
- Not really suitable for dry skin especially under eye area

Overall
I like it so far, but still finding something better. It is not bad for a drugstore product.
This is the only stick concealer from Revlon so we don't have many choices from Revlon.
Having one type of concealer isn't enough, there's sometimes that we need liquid type and sometimes stick.
For very dry skin I don't recommend this one. For oily skin stick is good and more long lasting.


What's your holy grail concealer?
I haven't found it yet and still in my journey finding the one.
