Review: Nivea In-Shower Body Lotion Hydrating Mini

I want to share about this new product I found at Guardian Malaysia. Nivea recently launched new products called 'In-Shower Body Lotion'. It's a new idea as the first rinse off body lotion in the world. Wearing lotion is something that I skip a lot because sometimes I just hate to wait for it to be absorbed and the stickiness after, that's why I prefer moisturizing shower gel but it isn't enough. I've never used body lotion in the morning because of that reason, but now I can!  



I just really curious about this product but didn't want to buy the big size yet because I had limited baggage, so I was so happy that I stumbled across this mini size. Are you curious?

There are 5 variants (Hydrating-Normal to Dry Skin, Nourishing-Very Dry Skin, Smoothing-Dry Skin, Honey, and Cocoa) but there's only 1 option for the mini size which is the hydrating one for Normal to Dry Skin, too bad I couldn't choose. I'd love to try the honey and cocoa one.

So gone are the days where you need to wait around for your skin to absorb moisturizer after showering, and with no greasy after-feeling, you can slip clothes straight on and carry on with your day.  

NIVEA In-Shower Body Lotion for normal to dry skin contains Sea Minerals that will leave skin feeling soft and hydrated.

HOW IT WORKS
NIVEA In-shower Body Lotions are activated by water and immediately absorb into the skin. It leaves a nourishing and caring film on the skin surface without a sticky feeling.

How to Use
1. WASH - Cleanse with shower gel as usual and rinse off
2. APPLY – Stepping back from the shower stream, apply a generous amount of NIVEA In-Shower Body Lotion. You’ll be amazed how quickly it rubs in
3. RINSE – The caring formula will immediately be absorbed by your skin and then you can rinse off
4. READY– Dry off and you can get dress immediately!

Packaging



The mini size has tube packaging, it's really nice for travelling. No different or special compared to other Nivea Body Lotion's packaging. I think this one was imported from Thailand, you can see from the alphabet. I didn't know at first because it had a cover with English on it but I threw it away. 



Flip cap as usual is very convenient for this kind of packaging.



Color, Texture & Scent


White and creamy lotion but it's a bit transparent like shower gel. It's like in between shower cream and gel. It has nice refreshing scent that I like. Typical Nivea lotion's scent but fresher.



Review


I tried to rub this lotion without washing, it absorb fast like lotion but there's residue which a bit sticky like when you rub shower cream in dry area before washing, so it's really made to rinse off.

After rinsing and towel-dry my skin, it gives moisture to my skin, exactly the same moisture like after using body lotion but without the stickiness and residue. It lasts longer than normal body lotion. You can see the glowing and moist skin after. 

It's a bit weird at first because it feels slippery after rinsing, it is because the lotion creates a nourishing film on the skin. It will fade as the skin dries in time and it's no longer a concern. I don't mind about this one because I like that kind of feel, in fact I don't like tight feeling skin after showering.



Pros:
+ Quick moisturizing, saves my time
+ No need to wait like using lotion
+ Moisturized skin in a quiet long time
+ No sticky residue after

 Cons:
- Slippery after rinsing. Some people may don't like it

Overall:
I love the idea, it saves my time a lot because I don't have to wear lotion after showering anymore and I really love that it's non sticky after using. I just get done as soon as I get out from the bathroom, I can put on my clothes and go. I prefer doing it in the bathroom. 

 I wish these awesome products enter Indonesia soon. Surely that I'll grab the big one! Curious with the honey and cocoa variant.
