[Sponsored] Review: Beaute Recipe Sweet Fruity Pear Shower Gel & Lotion

I want introduce you to COPIA. It's a beauty shop based in Indonesia which carry many international brands like Beauty Buffet, Beauty Cottage, Beaute Recipe, Fragonard, Clear Nose and OPI. Many of them I've never heard before, but I'm really interested in the body care products which is so appealing and it's affordable, too. It has offline stores in Jakarta area, for others, you can buy it online from their web. I've seen the stores and it seems amazing.


So weeks ago COPIA sent me these cuties yet sexiest bottle I've ever seen. I like to collect shower gel and body lotion because I enjoy pampering my body and rather to do it at beauty salon, I prefer to do it myself because it's cheaper and I can have many products to try *sounds like an excuse*. It can help boosting my mood and relaxing after a whole tiring day. I'm glad that I got these pear set for body because I've never tried any pear scented body care before.

Turn and Popped! Let's Pump!
Both shower gel and lotion have the same packaging, pear shaped transparent plastic bottle with pump. It's really cute because the shape represents what's inside the bottle. The pear shape is sexy and ideal shape because I've seen the strawberry one and I still wonder how it can stand by its own ^o^.

No sticker or printing on the bottle. For information, we can see from the pear shaped paper attached to the bottle. It has ingredient list on it.



Color, Texture & Scent
Left: Shower Gel, Right: Lotion
Shower Gel
The shower gel has transparent green liquid type like common shower gel and because it's pear so it has yellowish green color. It's not thick, more to watery side.
I love the scent, it's like pear but stronger with fruity scent because the real pear's scent isn't really strong.

Lotion
The lotion is creamy with yellowish green color but more to yellow, not as green as the shower gel one. It's not thick, indeed it's very watery for lotion. The lightest lotion I've ever had.
The lotion's scent is a bit different. I like the lotion more, it's light and sweet at the same time but not too strong. 



Review

Shower Gel
It's really watery, doesn't produce much foam so I need quiet a lot when showering. The good thing is that after showering it doesn't give tight feeling but still feel clean. It's not moisturizing but doesn't dry my skin either. Don't forget to use lotion after. The scent isn't long lasting, but it helps and stays longer by using the lotion after. 

Lotion
It's very watery, I'm surprised to see how light it was. Because it's very light, it's absorbed in seconds. Doesn't really feel like moisturizing but I love to use it in the morning because it's very hot here and it helps because it's not sticky at all. If you're working in AC room, you'll need something more moisturizing. Light texture also means light scent, it gives nice scent but not for a long time. I don't mind because I don't really like too strong fragrant lotion.



Pros:
+ Cute packaging
+ Light texture for both shower gel & lotion, quickly absorbed
+ Light moisturizing, not drying for shower gel and not sticky for lotion
+ Nice pear scent, not overwhelming but it's not classy

Cons:
- Need a large amount when using due to the light texture. 1 Bottle won't last for long
- The scent isn't long lasting
- Not really moisturizing

 Overall:
Beside this pear, I really wanna try the strawberry and orange one. It looks interesting too. The bottles shaped are just so cute! I like light textured products because it's not sticky but these are very light and sometimes it's not enough moisturizing. I prefer to use it in the morning because I don't really need heavy moisturizer. Using both products makes the scent last longer.
