Review: ELF High Definition Undereye Setting Powder

I bought many for eyes recently. I think I just curious what this will be and since it is cheap, only $3, yeah why not, I'll have one. Musing of a Muse recommend this one too. It's kinda a dupe for something more expensive. Forgot the name. Anyway, I'm into undereye product because I have dark circles and puffy eyes which I can't get rid off them until now, so the best I could do is covering them.

Description:
This light-diffusing powder camouflages fine lines, dark circles and imperfections, perfect for on camera or everyday wear. The silky powder adds a velvety finish ideal for wearing alone or setting in cream concealer. The Vitamin C & K infused formula helps to restore and strengthen skin for a revitalized appearance.

How to:
Apply after concealer to set in and for extra coverage, or wear alone for light concealing. Using the brush, sweep underneath the eye in an upward-outward stroke. Blend in evenly for flawless coverage.

Packaging

As usual, I'm a fan of Elf studio line, so you have known that the packaging is similar, all black. It comes in a box, pretty cute and neat along with the brush at the side. 


The back side contains complete information on description, how to and ingredients as I listed above. 
There is a mini brush included, helping you to apply the product, but I prefer my own brush which is bigger and softer. I usually put it a little and use Real Techniques buffing brush to get more even look.


It looks like face powder but in the mini size, seriously it's cute. You can see in the video, the way she's holding it. I like glass packaging and the black cap with logo and name, looks like pro. At the inside there is powder holes like any loose powder has and a transparent sticker 'pull to open'. No puff, that's why there is a brush.



SWATCH

The powder's color is a little bit soft pink. It is not shown in the pic, sorry there is no closer look. There is also a soft glitters in it as other brightening powder. The texture is so soft because it is High Definition which means has smaller particles that will be blended in well.


It has a velvety finish which can settle the liquid formula like concealer, I always use liquid concealer for under eyes because I have normal dry skin and this product an helps to settle, preventing other products to transfer down to the bottom lids. It does give brightening effect but for camouflage fine lines I'm not really sure because too much powder can make the fine lines appear much clearer. My tip is don't use too much product. For better brightening effect, use liquid highlighter first.

Overall
I like to use it as setting powder for concealer. I love the price and a little goes a long way. Maybe I'd repurchase if I'm out of it even I don't know when because we just need a little product to put on. It is not a main product that I really need, I can live with or without it, but for that price, I want to live with it. It is not as wow as a highlighter but can be a soft touch to the undereyes because it needs a softer product like HD powder.

    Careful not to breathe while using this since it contains mica, which may have an effect in lung problems.
