Max Factor is a drugstore brand, usually we can get it at Matahari Dept Store in Indonesia. Their price is good, a little bit more expensive than Revlon. Grab them when they're on sale, heard their mascara is great but I've never tried it. Maybe later.
Today I'll review my repurchase. I have the same old problem, dark circle! Argh... it keeps stressing me. I've tried everything but it's just there. So the best thing I could do is cover it up. Under eye concealer is my best friend. It's one of the most important thing on my make up, you can let me not to wear any make up but this is my must use thing along with eyeliner.
I need to repurchase it not because it is the best, but.. it's the best price and item that I can get easily here, not waiting for preorder or something. I always like brush or wand like this that specialized for under eye because they have lighter formula and blends easily, not cakey compared to face concealer. Revlon had one like this a long time ago but they're discontinued right now.

This is a pen model, made from plastic with black color, Max Factor color. The transparent body makes it easy to know when the product is going to run out but the cap can make it looks dirty. It's light and perfect for make up pouch.
I chose color ivory, the lightest from their 3 shades. It's the most suitable for me. Because under eye concealer have to be 1 shade lighter (according to Bobbi Brown) so I don't have any other choices on their limited shades.
How to get it out is by twisting the down side of the pen and there is a click sound everytime I twist it. First time needed a few times until the liquid came out and you have to be careful because over twisting can make the products spill out too much and it is wasting because we can't put it back inside.
It blends out nicely. The texture isn't thick and not cakey even if I layer it up until 2-3x. The coverage is so so but okay for me, I just use it for under eye area. Even though I have dark circle, I don't want full coverage everyday because it's not healthy for the skin. I just want some coverage and brightening effect.
I don't put anything on my face aside of eyeliner so just bear with it ^_^
As you see, it doesn't really cover my imperfection but it does gives brightening effect with sheer coverage, still buildable but doesn't help too much because I have purple dark circle and it can't be fully covered unless by canceling it with orange corrector. Okay for everyday wear. It feels light and moisturizing, doesn't cake and settle into lines. But for party or full make up, I usually cover it a bit with heavier concealer but make sure first that it's already hydrated with eye cream to prevent the cakey things.

Overall:
I want to try other similar items from other brands, do you have any suggestion? This one is quiet good but I want something that works more. It has the formula I want, just the coverage isn't really good. Maybe I'd repurchase it before I find the others.
I've heard maybelline has good concealers! Brightening concealers are nice but I think it would be good to have one that has more coverage ^^
