Review: Revlon Age Defying Foundation 05 Fresh Ivory

Revlon is very popular in Indonesia because they are everywhere and affordable. I like Revlon too.. I wish there will be more Revlon new products available in Indonesia. Super slow here and the shade or color can be very limited too. They have many kinds of foundation but I got this one because this is the most hydrating, while the others are more suitable for oily skin.

I don't have any foundation before this one. I always stick to BB or CC Cream because they are lighter and more moisturizing than foundation. But I still need one, though. If I go to a party or need something with more coverage, I'll need foundie. Oh yes, I have 1 foundation but it's only in mini size and it's from Laneige which as you know very sheer. Korean foundation tends to be lighter.

The packaging is classy, it's a transparent glass bottle with shimmery plastic red cap. I love the swirl, makes it look cute. It's small and not heavy even though it's a glass bottle. But for travelling, I prefer something with plastic or tube, talking about saving space and safety.

It has a plastic white pump where the product comes out. One pump is enough for one layer and I don't have any trouble with the pump. The downside it the pump is white! It's kinda dirty but it can be cleaned easily.

The product's name is printed on the bottle. I chose 05 Fresh Ivory, the lightest shade available. Revlon Indonesia doesn't have a complete range of colors like in the USA, so we have to work it out with the closest shade available.

I love how it blends nicely and really well. Doesn't feel heavy at all like foundation. This one is really moisturizing and giving dewy complexion. No white cast, and it looks so natural on my skin. It's really good for dry skin. I have normal dry skin and I love it, even if I don't put powder on top, it doesn't feel greasy. I use foundie only for occasion or in the AC room.

Zoom in! It looks natural right, 1 layer and it feels like BB Cream. The coverage is buildable, 1 layer isn't enough to cover imperfection. I usually use 2 layers to get the result I want. 

Use it on my face without any editing at all. No powder on top. Nice for photo with flash.

Overall:

I love it, I never expect to try Revlon foundation but I like what I've found. It's suitable with my skin. Giving healthy glowing complexion with coverage. For oily or combination skin, maybe colorstay or whipped foundie Revlon is good for you. I've seen tons of reviews of them. I love the price and it's easy to get.
