Innisfree Green Tea Balancing Cream and Innisfree Green Tea Fresh Cream - Review

It's been a while since I reviewed my Korean skincare products. I've been a fan of Innisfree green tea line since a long time ago and I decided to try both of their green tea cream the Innisfree Green Tea Balancing Cream and Innisfree Green Tea Fresh Cream. 


If you wonder what's the difference, which one I should get and what kind of cream that suits me, keep reading this post because I'll share it to you!


Innisfree Green Tea Balancing Cream


Combination Type: A balancing cream for deep hydration and nourishment made from green tea and green tea seeds 

A moisturizing and nourishing cream containing eco-friendly Jeju fresh green tea & green tea seed. More moisturizing and refreshing than ever before!

1. Green tea extracted from fresh green tea leaves harvested on Jeju Island is rich in amino acids and minerals that help keep the skin moisturized. 
2. This product is as light as whipped cream and is absorbed quickly to provide the skin with intense hydration. 
3. The cocoa butter forms a thin layer of moisture on the skin and provides intense hydration for combination skin.

- combination skin: The green tea balancing line
- dry skin: The green tea moisture line
- *special moisturizing and nourishing care line: The green tea seed line

What else you need to know
Free from: parabens, synthetic colorants, mineral oil, animal-originated ingredients, imidazolidinyl urea



The box is unique somehow, I love the innovation. As usual, it's made of recycled paper and can be recycled.



The packaging is made from plastic, quiet big but still light to carry. Almost all of Innisfree cream has the same jar's design.



Texture: It's light and a bit runny, spreads easily but needs time to sit for a while before adsorbed

Color: Milky white

Scent: Very noticeable green tea scent but somehow I love the green tea seed scent more

Review: I prefer using it at night or if the day isn't too hot. I'll see the weather before putting cream on my face. It's soft, easy to spread and has nice green tea scent. For a very hot and humid day, it needs a while before being adsorbed perfectly, however using toner before putting the cream gives much more refreshing feel and make it easier to adsorbed

3. The clove flower extract inside controls sebum and keeps your skin smooth without excessive shine.

Same packaging but with lighter color. It represent the name 'green tea fresh cream', the lighter the packaging's color means lighter texture too.



 Texture: It's a very light and watery gel cream, sinks instantly into the skin

 Color: Transparent

 Scent: Subtler green tea scent compared to balancing cream (maybe because of the consistency too)
Review: Love this! I use this when the day is very hot and humid (usually the weather is more than 30 degrees celcius with very high humidity), it feels refreshing and calming. For a more calming effect I even put it in the refrigerator. My skin is normal dry but somehow I like this one (on hot day!) and using it after toner and serum/essence. I never use it at night because I sleep with AC so I use the balancing one


Overall:

I love and using both of them now, they work well on my Normal Dry skin. Even though it's for oily and combination skin, but it works okay with me since I'm using them depends on the occasion. I live in Bali with super hot and humid weather, so I want a gel type cream and love this Fresh Green Tea Cream. When I need more moist cream, I use the Combination Green Tea one. 

However, I still love the Green Tea Seed Cream more, because even though it's thicker texture but it blends and adsorbed nicely on skin, and it has better scent (still green tea but love the seed cream's scent more).
