Review: The Face Shop Smart Capsule CC Cream

I have reviewed CC Cream from Banila Co (here), and Etude House (here), now it's time for The Face Shop. Now, it's time from The Face Shop. This is more expensive than its friends. The price is around $20, while other CC Cream still around $12 something. There are so many good reviews about it.

There are 2 sizes, compact and bottle.
As I say the price for the compact one is around $20, so the bottle one will be much more expensive.
For me, I like the compact because it's practical to bring everywhere and sometimes I hate using hand when I'm not at home. Non hygienic reason.
As other CC Creams, it has smart capsule that will be burst and turns into brown color that will color correct our face.
It has SPF 40 which is good for day time, and quite high compared to other CC Creams that usually goes as high as SPF 30.

I got a sample to try, sorry for the 'not detail' picture..
I can't give you pic for packaging. I have seen another review about it and I really like the compact concept.
The sample is good enough can be used several times.
I love the sample packaging because the cover is just like the original box and it's doff.

As you see, it makes my skin glowing with better complexion.
It adjust quickly to the skin, better than Tony Moly and Etude House.
I like this one better.

The finish, even though it's glowing but it's not sticky.
I like it, but if you want to use this, don't forget moisturizer.
I have normal dry skin and this won't be enough because it's not really moisturizing.


On my cheek, sorry for the before photo. I think it's too dark.
My skin looks healthy and glowing, as you see there is no coverage but this one is really good as a base.
If you have troubled skin, acne, scars. Don't use this one only.

- Has 2 types of packaging, compact and bottle (way better than tube)
- Give glowing finish
- Color adjust quickly
- Easy to blend
- Non sticky

Cons
- Quiet expensive
- Not really moisturizing

Overall
I like this CC Cream, it gives natural glowing finish. This is one of my favorite CC Cream along with Banila Co. I like this one better than Tony Moly and Etude House. I'm still thinking about buying the big size because it's kinda expensive. I like to use CC Cream along when I'm in hurry and this one is good, I don't have to wait too long about the color adjusting.

    I only have tried HERA CC Cream.. Lumayan sih, cuma aku ga cocok ama wanginya hehe.. Tp emang yah, CC Cream itu ga coverage.. >.< CC cream Face shop ini lebih glowing sih kalo aq liat di pic mu drpd HERA CC Cream..

    Aku cobain samplenya ajah, hahaha.. Scara jarang keluar rumah, jd lebih irit pake sample jg.. *walaupun srg mupeng liat packaging2 yg bagus n lucu, aplg ETUDE punya hahahha..

    Kebetulan samplenya aku dapet free.
    Kombinasi banyak yg bilang tony moly oil controlnya bagus. Cm mnrtq tony moly lbh putih. Face shop lbh natural. Kl aku lebih suka face shop, harganya lbh mahal juga si ya hehe..

Review Sulwhasoo First Care Activating Serum
