Review: Mizon Honey Black Sugar Scrub

Mizon is one of my favorite Korean brand right now. It has good quality and the price is still affordable too. They are more concerned to skin care rather than make up. Most of the products I know don't have paraben, color and other harmful ingredients so they're mostly safe for sensitive skin.


Face scrub is one thing that I should have! Can't live without it. I routine doing face scrub at least twice a week to get rid of dead skin cells and keeping my face soft and smooth. It's also best using it before putting on mask because the mask will absorb better. 

I was interested in sugar scrub because it's more natural and it's sweet, but I have bad experience with Skinfood Black Sugar Scrub because it's too harsh for my skin, fortunately this doesn't happen with Mizon. Let's see...

Packaging


Comes with a box like many other Mizon products. It's a brown box. The jar is made from plastic, brown jar, white lid. It's strong because I've dropped it several times and nothing happened. The packaging is similar with other Mizon masks.

There's a separator to keep it from messy. After a while, I threw it out because it was torn. 



Texture

It's definitely sugar in brown color, like sticky sugar with honey in denser consistency. It's not really dense like Skinfood one, this one is softer. It's also easy to spread.



Scent

It's so yummy! just like Coke or Coca-Cola. Sweet and tempting. I love this especially when massaging my face with this scrub. Wanna lick my own face. ^-^



Review

I Love it! The price is still affordable and I love the formula. It's sugar scrub but it doesn't irritate my skin at all because it's still considered soft and easy to spread. Just remember, using this one we have to wet our face first and do not rush. The result is just wonderful, it makes my skin soft, smooth but not drying. If I put mask after, my skin can absorb better and make it super smooth and moist.

    It looks similar to the Skinfood Black Sugar Scrub or the Klairs Facial Scrub. did you try any of these and could compare?

    I did try all of them. I really don't like skinfood, it's too harsh on my skin. I love the klairs though, but I'll choose this one because of the price. It's cheaper and good. Thank u ;)
