Innisfree The Green Tea Seed Serum - Review

Hi! It's almost holiday time. Where do you go this time? I'm not going anywhere. Just staying at this Bali island because I have event coming up, can't wait to meet my blogger friends! Don't forget to moist your skin on your holiday time, I'll review the most important thing in skincare regime, serum! If I need to choose one thing out of gazillion skincare routine steps, I'll choose serum.


I got this last month, when my friend went to Korea. I've used this years ago and I liked it, then using Laneige Water Bank Essence, now I need a cheaper version but they seem to renewed it last 2014. Sooo.. What's the difference then?

A moisturizing serum with the organic Jeju green tea water and green tea seeds to hydrate your skin from within!

3. The first skincare applied after face wash! 
As the first skincare product used after face wash, it holds moisture inside your skin to prevent any moisture loss.. 

How to use
Take out an appropriate amount and apply around your face and neck.

Packaging 


Green theme box made with recycled paper and printed in soy ink like other Innisfree products. Simple yet very down to earth.



The bottle is made from plastic. It's dark green color and semi transparent, I can see the serum inside even it's not so obvious. English description on the front side and Korean on the back. It has the same packaging with the old version. 



The plastic cap is so small and easy to loose, I lost it on my first bottle. Hope that I won't loose it anymore >_<. The pump itself works great, I need 2 pumps for my whole face. 



Review


Texture: The texture is watery like really watery as you see, I think it's more watery than the previous version. 
Color: It has no color, just a little bit white creamy transparent liquid. The previous version is transparent and has tiny green capsules, which is more fun to use :p.
Scent: The green tea scent is lovely. I love it so much. Fresh and calming. Still the same with previous version.

Because it's watery, it feels really light and absorb fast on the skin, but it leaves a bit tacky feeling at the end for a few seconds. However, it makes my skin super moist and only need a bit of moisturizer after. This should be used as the first step of skincare, kinda remind me of Sulwhasoo first serum. 
Compared to the previous serum, this one is more moisturizing but doesn't have tiny green capsules anymore. I think I like the previous version more, but I'm still working on it as I just use it recently.



Pros:
+ Very moisturizing
+ Works great on dry skin
+ Very refreshing green tea scent
+ Watery and easy to absorb

Cons:
- Leaves a bit tacky feeling

Overall:
It's very recommended especially for people with dry skin because it's very moisturizing but refreshing too as well. I like this one too and will keep using it. Really really love the scent. However, if it's compared to the previous version, this one is more moisturizing with slightly different texture than before. Still, I love Laneige Water Bank Essence more but this one is a cheaper alternative for me.
