This will be my first time reviewing Chinese Food. It is a very common food that can easily be find anywhere in Indonesia, but many of them has lost the real taste and authenticity. Surabaya and Jakarta are famous for its good Chinese Food, but it's not that easy to find a real and good Chinese Food in Bali. Now, I know where to find it.
I agree with the restaurant's name because it is a little restaurant that brings the authentic Hongkong cuisine to Bali. The place is small but people always come and go to have lunch and dinner and sometimes in the afternoon.
Little Hongkong is easy to find as it's located on the main road in Jalan Raya Kuta, near the Garoupa restaurant. The place isn't too big but it's noticeable. You can park at the shop complex.
This little restaurant gives homey and warm ambience with the red painted wall, cream floors, warm lighting and white washed furniture. At the front area, they have bar dining concept that faces the kitchen area which mostly filled by 1 or 2 customers.
The main area is filled with 3 big round tables for 10 people each and others are 4 people tables. I like the paintings on the main wall, it represents the Hongkong crowdedness which is kinda true. Hongkong is very famous with the crowdedness, especially at weekend, I've been to Hongkong and it made me real dizzy.

Other decorations supports the Hongkong ambience inside.
Roasted Duck, Crispy Roast Pork, Roasted Pork and Hainan Chicken all hanging like in Hongkong
This is always be the identity of Chinese Hongkong restaurant. They always have it. Looks so yummy, don't they.
4 types combination (roasted pork/char siu, crispy roast pork/sio bak, roasted duck, and hainan chicken)
When it's on the plate, it looks yummier! The color and texture is perfect. The hainan chicken (right) goes with the green sauce (combination of ginger, garlic, broccoli and bok choy), they're really great together, I love the green sauce. The roasted duck (top) goes with the sweet and savory brown sauce, it is so tender. The crispy roast pork is my favorite, sam chan or pork belly is always delicious plus the crispy skin makes it perfect. The roasted pork is yummy too, a little bit sweet but delish.
Boiled Baby Lobster with Pickled Mustard Green Soup
Now you can see the Baby Lobsters!
This one is really really good! Pickled mustard green has strong flavor but they only use the bottom part, leaving the leaves apart, so the flavor is softer and more dominant by coriander flavor. It gives nice and unique taste of soup. The lobsters are really fresh and yummy, it's sweet, moist and juicy. Don't leave it too long in the soup or it'll get harder.
Kolobak
It's another pork dish but fried and covered with sweet sour sauce. It's crispy but a bit hard for me. The taste is nice and combined well together.
Salted Egg Crispy Tofu
Who doesn't like tofu? I love this because it's not like other boring tofu. It has crispy skin which covered by salted egg, yummy! The inside is soft and full and fluffy.
Szechuan Beans with Chicken
It's one of my favorite Chinese vegetable dish. Savory and a bit spicy taste really works with the fresh and crunchy beans, not overcooked, just the right one.
Hongkong Style Steamed Snapper
It's my mom's favorite dish. It's soft, fresh and healthy. The fish is so fresh! They keep the fish in the tank before cooking it, that's why. The meat is soft and not dry, just the perfect texture. The savory Hongkong sauce really compliments the fish meat.
Chili Salt Squid
Chili salt is my favorite too, simple seasoning but really works inside my mouth. Fried chili is perfect with chili salt. The crispiness is at the right amount, although it's a bit too chewy for me, it's still a good dish.
King Mackerel with Hongkong sauce
This is the dish that looks very Indonesian style. This is fried King Mackerel with sambal on top and tasty savory sauce at the bottom. The fish is very fresh, smooth silky fish meat, perfect goes with the sambal and sauce. It's not spicy, maybe a bit but I love spicy so it's not spicy for me.
Tom Yum Seafood Soup
I love Tom Yum, especially the strong and spicy one. But if you don't like the strong one, this will fit for you because it's mild, sour but not really strong and not too spicy. The seafood inside is fresh and yummy too. They serve it in a pot which makes it unique.
Blackpepper Crab
It's been a long time since I had my last crab. They aren't big but yummy and sweet, love the fresh crab meat. The sauce is tasty, a bit spicy but I like it.
Seafood with Seaweed Soup
At first, I don't expect anything from it, it just looks like usual soup. But when I tasted it, wow, the milky fish broth is yummy. It blends just right in my mouth, I can taste the milky soup that comes from the fish broth combined together with seaweed, it's a perfect combination. The fish meat and tofu inside is really really soft and fresh, complimented by the soup.
Some of our tasty food!
These are some of our tasty tasty food! We need hours to eat this one by one. The owner is really friendly and kind, very welcoming. The staffs give excellent service. I will surely go back again to this place.
