Review: Holika Holika Magic Pole Mascara Waterproof #1 Ultra Black

Holika Holika is one of my favourite brand, especially for their 'magical' packaging. They have this magical theme for their cosmetic.

I saw this kind of mascara with a ball in Taiwan TV Show (make over). It's cute, unique and can reach my lower eye lash so I decided to get one.

If you see the commercial, it's very funny because few men chasing a woman and they want to apply the mascara to her.

Description

This is the magic pole with waterproof formula, there is also one that not waterproof.

Comes with 2 colors, black and purple.

The purple one looks more 'magical' but I'm more comfortable with black.

Packaging

The packaging is very unique. It has 3 sides because of the triangle shape.

Mine is damaged on the corner because of the shipping. >_<

Expired date is printed on the bottom side

Side A is the cover of the packaging. See how the magic pole is like a magic wand.

Side B is description in Korean.

Side C is description and ingredients list in English with a bit of Korean, too.

It has sticker seal. Yay!
To keep the triangle shape got ruined and also to keep others not to open it.

Voila... It is inside the magic box.. More like an origami I think.

I really want to understand what it says, but now I just have to guess.. :p 

Wish that someday I can read or have a friend from Korea.

The bottle is silver metallic bottle, you can see your reflection there. With the doff blue swirl centered from the magic pole, the concept is really 'magical'. Reminds me of anime movies that I like to watch when I was a child.

The back side is a little writing in Korean.

The cap, I love it. It looks magical too.. unique!

Its shape is like a ball that can reach your short lashes like mine. 

Swatch

I didn't curl my lashes before using this, but it works well.

I used one layer of the mascara and it curls my lashes.

I  also tried with many layers and it works wonderful. 

The waterproof test really works. It is waterproof and you have to use cleansing oil + remover to get rid of it. If you don't really like wasting time to clean it off, try the other one that non waterproof formula, it's easy to be cleaned just with warm water.

One thing that hard is, it needs time to apply, if you're in a hurry or in a car, you have to be careful.

Sometimes, because of the ball, it can smudge the other eye part or touch your eyes. 

Beside that, I love it!

 I love this because of the design and the packaging. It's very useful and unique mascara.
